For the US premiere, Christian Fennesz and Ryuichi Sakamoto will perform on the 15th of July from their 2007 album, "Cendre" at The River To River Festival.

This live collaboration creates a new synergy between acoustic piano and electronic and electric guitar music. Fennesz’s sensitive, ambient soundscapes balance and manipulate Sakamoto’s elegant piano phrasing, creating vivid dialogues between melody and texture.
